The story features a project that is taking place at Tapu Te Ranga Marae in Wellington, which involves offenders undertaking a number of building and landscaping tasks on the 50 acre grounds.

Almost 1.5millon hours of labour were provided to local communities by offenders serving sentences in the past year, and you might be surprised at what some of this work involved.
